Local export — no model upload

Convert MAX to a portable GLB.

MAX is a native 3ds Max project format and cannot be interpreted reliably by a browser. This helper audits bitmap paths and hands the scene to Autodesk’s local Real-Time Exporter.

Audit and export

1. Run the helper

In 3ds Max, choose Scripting → Run Script and select ignlab_3dsmax_export.ms. The IGNLab exporter window will open.

2. Audit textures

Select Audit texture files. Relink any missing bitmap paths before export so your material maps can be included correctly.

3. Export a GLB

Select Export GLB. In Autodesk’s Real-Time Exporter choose GL Transmission Format and enable GLB output. glTF materials generally produce the most predictable result.

4. Validate the result

Open the GLB in IGNLab 3D to check geometry, materials, textures and structural integrity before publishing.

Your MAX scene remains local. The helper uses the exporter installed with 3ds Max and does not send the native project to IGNLab.
